Room History

Douglas Elton Fairbanks was an American actor, screenwriter, director, and producer. Fairbanks was a founding member of United Artists. He was also a founding member of The Motion Picture Academy and hosted the 1st Academy Awards in 1929. He married Mary Pickford and visited the Rosewood (as Pleasnt View Inn) both before he married Mary Pickford and after their wedding. Very good fried with Charlie Chaplin. We cannot figure out which of the rooms he picked while staying here but we imagine our Douglas Fairbanks room fits his character.
