Charlie Chaplin Suite

Room 5

2nd Floor

Sleeps 2

Description

A beautiful and quiet room on the back of the house. It is the smallest of our Jacuzzi rooms and it has a queen size four poster bed and fireplace.

Room History

With this room, we make honor to “The Little Tramp“, Mr. Charlie Chaplin. Chaplin was a guest of the Inn many times. Former neighbors told us they saw him playing golf at the inn’s 9 hole golf course. Because some of the rooms were modified, we do not know for sure which room he stayed in but we decided to name one of them for his most famous on-screen character, “The Little Tramp“. Did you know Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks started United Artists and they all stayed at the Pleasant View Inn, now called Rosewood Country Inn? Won’t it be something if they made plans to create United Artists while they were on a weekend getaway here at the Rosewood?
